This was a fun read. I'm the evil ogre this year. My husband is working nights and I don't want to give out candy by myself. Not safe for sure. Sigh. I feel bad!

Just dress up like a psychotic axe murderer and it's totally safe to answer the door by yourself!

I love that you still find a way to trick-or-treat. and that's so neat when houses that are out of the way or hard to get to make the trek very worthwhile. fun read!

I remember being very tired with sore feet the next day! Oh, but the candy made it worth the work!

SMELL MY FEET!!

Another good set of Halloween words. I miss trick-or-treating. Running around (with pillowcases, I was of the greedy kind) the neighborhood with my friends, randomly joining forces with kids I didn't usually even talk to in order to get the most candy. For some reason, it ALWAYS rained on Halloween so those who stayed out longest were rewarded with buckets-full of candies :)

Mom caught me singing the "Trick or treat, smell my feet" rhyme and IMMEDIATELY FORBADE me from singing it ever again!
