Well, to be fair to myself, the sitting trot IS getting better. It's not glorious by any stretch of the imagination. It's not even decent, but its coming. I have, however, realized two things. What helps me most in sitting trot is making sure my seat bones and pelvis are level. Equal weight in both seat bones, imagining they are flashlights, and must point direction DOWN, not out back (as in a hunter perch), and not shoved forward (as in chair seat). When the seatbones "plug in" it strengthens your position... then it's just keeping enough positive tension to stay with the horses movement.
I can't wait to see pics of Costa going after bootcamp!

On the condo- I rented a few apartments after college, and there are a few things you should probably keep in mind - 1. neighbors- it is best not to have anyone living above you, and it is also better to have as few neighbors as possible to the side of you. No matter how awesome the place is, neighbors can ruin it. People don't care that they are being rude. You want to have your bedroom on the top floor with no shared wall. Living room or kitchen or bathroom, shared wall is not really a big deal.
2. Laundry. If at all possible, have a washer and dryer inside your apartment. Shared laundry rooms suck. I felt like it was heaven on earth the day we bought a washer and dryer for our house.
Have fun house hunting!
