I was going to suggest hand walking but if he's reacting like THAT I don't think it's such a smart idea after all. :( Poor boy!

haha, actually ironically he's fairly good if we just walk up to it and im nt riding. but its almost like when im riding, he doesn't trust me enough to realize that we are in grave danger and need to get the hell out of dodge :P

LOL. Yeah, that sounds like Ritz although he's getting better! I have had to walk through puddles this summer to get him in from grazing (he will be standing in them eating the grass that's drowning in water), but as soon as I'm on him - NOPE! Goin' the other way!

haha, enrique doesn't go through puddles with me on him either. he'll start to rear, and i start beating him and hve to be happy if he puts one hoof in

I'm laughing so hard.. and with you, because I've had moments that have blown Harper's little TB mind to pieces. Generally, though, I'm laughing too hard at her to do anything, but... only thing that seems to work for her is circle her to death in the spot and work on getting her off my inside leg. At least your horse can get past a judge's stand without losing his mind x_x

haha true, he can get past the judges booth, but its really cute, because you can literally feel his eye and face bugging out as we go past it :P

Please tell your horse to stop telepathically communicating with mine. Ozzy had enough trouble with ground poles WITHOUT Rico telling him about the Gremlins of Doom.

he tries, but she's got legs of steel that just sucks him right up, so he doesn't have much chance to move around in places that she doesn't want him to go ;)
