I haven't written in my LiveJournal in so long.  The interface is different.  I feel out of place.  I sometimes wonder if I should stop with LiveJournal and just have it be a thing of the past?  I don't know.  I like having a place to write my musing and thoughts.  I guess I haven't given myself enough me time to do so

lani! you've got to tell me all the hotspots at chicago (not anything too touristy since i'm sure i'll be suggested all of those things through the maps/guides)! i am planning a trip there for next august because i'm considering university of chicago, they've got a great humanities program.

if you'll be 21 by then, violet hour is a fun speakeasy type bar. i'm thrifty, so most shopping was window shopping. my favorite shoe boutiques were lori's shoes and city soles. love, love, love city soles, but totally out of reach for me. food wise, you should check out counter burger in lakeview/lincoln park, peace pizza in wicker park, and of course do some deep dish downtown. i may be out there again before august, so i may have more for you then! :)
