HELP with films

I'm in Cinema-mode.But I have a limited knowledge in cinema.
I have new computer's screen and it is a flat 19p (..sorry I don't know the english for 19pollici piatto): GREAT!!!!!!!
I can see film in screen's upper part and in lower use firefox or other programs!
