I was pulling for Remi being our next top... instead she's getting transferred out Hoshi. Great. Thanks Hankyu. Ranno Hana, while I'm sure is a lovely girl, isn't exactly making me jump for joy here... I suppose because I don't really know her. She's pretty at least? And she has the nose to fit in X3

She was Ahi's aiteyaku for Yume no Ukihashi. I posted clips of that, right?

I like her, she's very sweet, but especially seeing her in Last Play made me realize that she's very limited - frankly because she's too young to have a broad repertoire of acting techniques. She also has trouble with her high range. It could be worse, though.

I'm interested to see where Remi will fit into Hoshigumi now. I suppose she might end up getting the Bow lead with Kaname, and her chances seem decent for it since the two girls in the troupe I thought had the highest chance of it are in Gekijou. But unless Nene retires soon, I don't see how she could be moving up in the troupe at all...

As for Ranno Hana, I haven't seen enough of her to comment, much less talk about how she'll fit into Hanagumi.

I'm definitely not going to say everything I'm thinking right now, just because there's a lot going on and most of it is semi-selfishly centering on Kitori Mariya.

But, okay, plus side for me is I actually know Ranno better than Remi. And while it doesn't answer the singing concerns I've been hearing, at least we know she can stand on her tiptoes real prettily here? (New pattern, I'm noticing, of Madeleines becoming top. So, so bizarre. So, so telling about the young musumeyaku trends, where Madeleine counts as a spotlight role.)
