was something similar to Noddy's "story ropes" where a story is told, in patterns. Reminds me of (not sure of term/spelling) wampum? belts? Something native american that told the story of their people, a small slice of wearable history. I would be tempeted to tell a sumerian or roman or celtic tale, or something besides native american, since many of the people I know that wear "indian" jewelry are faux-indians. Or some sort of deeply personal story, like the birth of a child, or the death of a family member, with things that are memory associations with that person or event.
