I suppose I'm partly to blame; I should be more supportive, but I have never known you - or your hometown - any other way. The 'Industrial Disaster of Jefferson County' happened seven years before I was even born and in a country on the opposite side of the world. I could read archived news articles and shit like that until my eyes bled, but I could never fully relate, because I wasn't there.

Even so, I will do whatever I can for you. If you don't want to stay in Louisville, there's always my hometown. I can't guarantee that you'll like it there, and you'll need a passport - fuck, so will I - but you'd be welcome company.
