So, I love hockey. I haven't talked about it much this year, what with all of my Bioware obsessions taking over my LJ, but I do. Sadly, every time I have ever attended a game, my team has lost. (In truth, every time I have ever attended ANY major/minor sporting event, my team has lost.) But last night? Last night I got a free club box ticket to ( Read more... )

Lol I'm sorry but I laughed at "every time I have ever attended a game, my team has lost." & "RAM INTO MY CARS!".
You seem like a very lucky person. lol jk jk! xD
But I hope you get your car troubles sorted out.

As for Alice in Wonderland I'm not sure I was planning to see it next weekend with a couple friends. But I've got some mixed feeling about the movie from other friends.

Hehe! No, its okay! I recognize the LOL factor, I just kind of sigh and nod my head when it happens now myself!

And thanks ;-)

I know that I want to see the movie, I'm just wary about paying for the 3D, you know? It seems like one of those things that MIGHT be decent, and yet totally not worth the extra cash!

Even when the other guy gets out his car and starts yelling at us (or Magus in the case). Certainly didn't hurt that this time a police officer actually WITNESSED the accident, so the other guy doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Ha! Score one for the good guys.

The flist members who have seen Alice enjoyed it.

Agreed :-D

And good to hear on the Alice reviews, I've been unplugged from movie stuff for a little bit (on account of my video game addiction, so I hadn't heard a whole lot yet. Thanks!

Yeah, I recognize that being all excited fro a win against the Maple Leafs is kind of sad, but frankly, I WILL TAKE WHAT I CAN GET!

And yes, it was just SO MUCH FUN! I really, really, really hope that I can't to witness a win again. (And if it could be against the Rangers or the Penguins, well, I just might implode from that...)

Oh, ROCK! That's good to hear! I'm definitely wiffle-waffling on the 3D thing, so that helps. Thanks!!

NEVER BEEN TO A HOCKEY GAME!?! Well, that's just...sad :-(

Of course, I totally respect it if hockey isn't your thing. I've never been to a pro-football game myself...

And yup, hopefully having the police there will help keep the claim nice and smooth!

There is never enough time to do everything, is there? *sigh*

This is Germany people are into football/soccer (whatever you call it) I watched some games on tv... I also only know two german teams. the "Kölner Haie" (Cologne Sharks) and the Metro Stars (That is the team from Düsseldorf) And I only know those two cause I live in the town between them and study in Cologne.
(But truthfully I rather spend my money to go to a music event. That can be everything from a concert of a group I like to, classic music)

Luckily I never had to deal with something like that. Hope everything goes well for you.

Nope... sadly not :(

Hey, my best friend lives in Germany, and she had her son on a hockey team for a while (before he ditched it for wrestling) so that's no excuse! :-P

But I get spending the money for a decent concert as well. Hockey is the only sport I'll spend money to see, and even that is few and far between, I mostly relay on the kindness of people with free tickets :-D
