ETA: Final finish time: 1:44:02 (this is 7 minutes, 40 seconds faster then this same race last year). In other words: *squee!*

That's a very good question! Of course, the towel wouldn't have helped much, seeing as how everything was completely soaked by the time the race was done ;-P
