Okay, I am under strict directions to not write an entry about me being sad, which is pretty much the core reason of this journal still being active, so I am taking this opportunity to write about something of real significance that took place in my life. So... i think we need to update a few things in your pre-college live journal... first off, maybe if it wasnt BLACK we would feel better about our posts... and maybe if when we are the happiest about something going on.. we write that also! I have a strong feeling that the reason why you are sad about things, and the reason why you come off as sad all the time, is because you only discuss the sad... i think that this post was a slight breakthrough, you started off the the GODS of the WHO! which i am still pissed i couldnt be at... but GO CHANGE THOSE COLORS AND WRITE ABOUT THE GREAT WEEKEND YOUR GOING TO HAVE NEXT WEEKEND!!!!

A very interesting post, Shannon. I won't get too deep into all of it, but I will say this-

In regards to your last comment, "I'm feeling more and more lately that it is too much to ask to be something spectacular to someone else", I think you may have the wrong thing in mind. As someone who believes that whatever is meant to be, will be, I tend to strive toward being something spectacular to myself, first. If you can honestly step outside yourself and say that you'd want to hang out with yourself (if you weren't already you, of course), then the people that will matter will find you. It's a difficult process, being completely content with yourself- I'm not, and I doubt very many people are- but if you are a fan of yourself, first and foremost, others become fans of you too. It's the best piece of advice I have. I hope it helps.
