the episode was "ordinary" but i'm hoping that it's a prelude to a more interesting scene... i liked the part of Akaiwa and Yuzuko, i found it cute when Shirao dropped the bat...hehehe.. for me it was like a warning: "hey akaiwa... im watching you, stop making advances..."
i was somehow able to predict that Ebato will be able to hit the ball, or else, Aoshi's words won't make sense to him... well, i was really happy when he did it..
Ahh.. and my Nino... He smiled a lot in this episode...making me hit the pause button every time he does.. ^.^

thanks again for this post.. wow i really am sleepy now, i wonder if i made any sense at all.
looking forward to your next review! Keep it up=)

Thank you very much, I'm doing my best to keep up the reviews and will try not to be that late again XD

I agree that this episode was "ordinary" but yes, you might have a point that it's preparing us for what is coming. I just don't know, if we can have too high expectations for the team's performance in the tournament. Well, I hope so of course! I just hope that they can win once at least! What do you think, will they be able to beat Takemiya High School?

Ebato's hitting was predictable that's right ^^ ah but yes, so happy for him that he did it!

Aoshi-sensei was totally cute in this episode even if I feel like he had so little screen time XD I also still wait for something "more" about him, something more explosive maybe, some strong character development? If you know what I mean... But I'm not sure if we will get to see something like that... Well, let's wait and see xD If the information are correct, then there are still 4 episodes to go, let's see what will happen during those!

ahh.. only 4 episodes left? nooooooo! Just as when i already got addicted to the drama...=) hahaha. time flies when you enjoy something ne? but that's what i love about jdramas, they end before one gets tired of watching them.
well, i hope they'd win against TSH... it's a bit heart breaking already seeing those cute guys loosing hope every now and then ... ^.^...
and i am somehow hoping that Kamezawa will show up in the next episode.. or maybe on the 9th or 10th, but we'll see...
looking forward to seeing more of Aoshi's heart melting smiles...kyaaaa!!!

Yes... 11 episodes... at least this dorama seems to have more than Shinigami-kun, it seems like it ends with 9 episodes =(. I have to say, I'm happy if we will get 11 episodes but I think, this would also have been a good movie. What I mean is, the pace of the dorama is pretty slow sometimes and there is a lot of repeating stuff. They maybe could have made it more packed and more thrilling if they made it into a movie but yeah, I shouldn't complain about my weekly Nino dose, right? XD haha So I shut up...

I really hope for their win as well! It would be soooo nice! >.< They would deserve it to win at least once! But I wonder if they will acchieve their goal that quickly...

Yes T_T I want to see Kamezawa again as well! I wonder if he will have another show-up, even if it's only to watch the team play maybe? D=

It was a cute episode! Okay, perhaps it seemed a bit dull to some, since it was Ebato and Mitsuyasu who got the character development, but I really like Ebato, so I thought it was just fine :) Plus, more friendly behavior between him and Okadome :D (I totally ship that too! ;)

You know, as annoying outside-types go, I actually LIKE Tone Riko. She's a good example of a woman who is forging her own path :) She could easily ignore Jotoku and focus on the teams that her editor wants her to, but she actually cares about our Underdog :) Plus, the way she managed to make Yuzoko have to shut up about the room, was just win :D I especially like the fact that they do not seem to be setting her up as a love interest. She's just another adult who wants the team to do well, just like Yuzoko's mom. That's refreshing!

Hm, I don't think it was dull because of Ebato and Mitsuyasu because I think they are interesting characters as well and I especially like Ebato ^^ That was fine. What I missed in this episode was a real "progress"... even if we can count Ebato's progress I guess but it wasn't that much of an impact because it was somehow really predictable. I was also expecting a bit more from the training camp I guess. Well, I'm complaining on a high level I guess xD Sorry for that ( ... )

When you have a major character like Kamezawa leave, sometimes shows need a chance to regroup and set things up for the next arc, which I think this episode does. True, there wasn't much progress...but we finally got the Experiment Speech I've been expecting and we are poised for Big Things on the Horizon :D ( ... )

Sorry for the late reply! I think I get what you mean about the regrouping for the next arc, you're right that this episode works with that. And yes, the Experiment Speech, it was time for this, right? XD ( ... )

Yeah it was an okay episode but I thought it was hilarious when they were ALL eavesdropping on Akaiwa who seemed like he was gonna confess!!!!!!

WILL HE ACTUALLY DO IT ANYTIME SOON??

Hehehehehhehe :)

Haha, yes this scene was great! XD I really wonder if Akaiwa will ever be able to confess... and if he even wanted to confess o.o I'm not sure yet if he got through his feelings to understand that he actually likes Yuzuko XD

for me, different opinion from others, this is a fun episode, i like the part when many players from other schools appeared.
when they started playing baseball, wowww, i wonder how jotoku will win if their opponents were great like that.the brothers confrontation is okay too. i pretty much understand what the elder brother thinking about his little brother.

i noticed the hairstyle part too.
for me, the most intrigued part is the way ebato wear his cap ^^.
i just found it funny how he manage to preserve his great hairstyle when he wore his cap.

for the "winning strategy" part, i still don't understand how they will win if they don't even know how to bat fast ball like mitsuyasu's brother throw.

and for kamezawa, i don't know what was the writer thinking for cutting off kamezawa like that.
there's not much episode left, i don't know how kamezawa will be back, in what kind of condition ( i know he will).

Hey, sorry for the late reply! Well, I had fun with this episode as well at some scenes but I think there were stronger onces in the past. I'm wondering how this will progress, will watch ep 8 today so I'll find out soon, yei =D

Yes, I agree, I can understand the big brother's thinking about his younger brother as well. I liked the confrontation of those two because it shows how different even siblings can be and it's not like one of them is right and the other wrong, they both have a point, it just depends on from with point of view you're looking at it, right?

Haha XD That's right! Ebato, his cap and his hairstyle, it's a phenomenon lol

Uhm yeah, I think they have to practice swinging a looot so that they can hit fast balls or they might not be able to get any points in the tournament >.< I hope they are fast learners also in the real game! D= Because time is running boys... and I hope that they at least don't drop out of the tournament after only one match >.It would be really great if Kamezawa would come back! I wonder if the ( ... )
