I enjoyed this second episode. There were some funny scenes, especially when Aoshi-sensei met his rival(?), he's so scared:D. I loved how the story was not only focused on shirao, but also the other students. The way Aoshi-sensei handled the problem between Ebato and Okadame was unusual but I liked it.
About the love story, I think it's quiet refreshing. I mean if we talked about youth drama of course there will be love story:D. but I think Yuzuko loves baseball more:D
Too bad the rating was decreased, but I don't really want to think about it:D
I also love Nino's acting in this drama and the other cast too. Can't wait for the next episode.. sorry for the long post and I hope you understand my English:D
You're welcome, thanks for reading and leaving a comment! I really loved this episode, the humor, Aoshi-sensei, everything! I agree, it's good that Shirao wasn't the only student the story focused on. Like this it didn't get boring.
I think, Aoshi-sensei really has some unusual ways of teaching but that's what makes him interesting, right?
It's good that the love story is not too dominant, I think the level of it was just right but I hope that it will not get much more dramatic... well, let's see how it develops, ne? =)
Oh, don't pay too much attention about ratings XD As long as people enjoy the dorama, it's good =)
This is great! But i'm sure as we moved along to the next episode they will cover each of the members story highlight (excited to see next ep as it will be Kamezawa's highlight)Oh and I'm more curios how will Aoshi sensei handles the problem seeing the triangular love of his student. Will he give some brilliant advice or totally ignore ha ha more to come more to come.
It is good that we getting know more about each character and the team start to getting more team spirit XD I love that they set goal for koshien.
A lot of funny scene in this episode. The way Nino and the coach burst out laughing about Shirao's aim to win over Doutou High-school. The way Shirao's admit without hesitation that he love Yuzuko is, somehow, funny for me XD. Also I love Akaiwa and Yuzuko interaction. They are cute together, XD
However, story about Shirao's love for Yuzuko seem a little bit force for me. First,Shirao and Yuzuko seem like just a good friend in the first episode. Noting in the first episode indicate any romance between them. Also, well, isn't anyone who spend 3 years running 20 km. every morning just to swing the bat at a roof near by the girl house, without telling her how he feel, is a little bit pathetic? Without Yuto's look, that person probably a borderline stoker, lol
I thought that at first as well but I rewatched the first episode and you actually can see Shirao pull a jealous face when Yuzuko says that "we need to find two members, Akaiwa will definitely come back". Subtle, but it was definitely there!
I also noticed rewatching the first episode that there was subtle tension between Ebato and Okadome!
Yes!! The laughing scene was really funny! Liked it when Aoshi-sensei said "that's nothing to laugh about" after that.
I really like the subtle comic of this dorama. It does not need funny effects or sounds to imply comedy, it just comes from the dialogues and the really good acting from the actors. I like that a lot!
I have to admit for me in the first episode I didn't really notice Shirao's affection towards Yuzuko either, at least I thought as well they were just friends. Well, will check when I watch it again with a friend of mine soon, maybe I can see it clearer then =)
Nino's character is too weird,he keeps on changing lol I liked all the ep apart from the end,the exchange between Aoshi and the students was a bit weird,i didn't really get his way of encouraging them XD I loved when Nino told Hongo off when he got up from his seat and when he laughed along with the other coach when they spoke about Jutoku beating Doutou lolz For now i think Nino's acting is good, even if not at his greatest, maybe he also didn't really get the character either XD Still i love it when he gets angry/pissed off or emotional, that's his forte! I think the acting of some of the students is still a bit stiff, hope they'll get better in next eps!
Yes, Aoshi-sensei is really weird but I really like that about him, it makes him so interesting I think! =) The last part with the encouraging indeed was a bit strange, I wasn't that sure about it either ^^" But it worked, so yei =D
I totally agree, the scene with Nino and Hongo was just awesome! And after that he refuses his suggestion of being the pitcher, it was almost the same situation again I think and it was clear who's the "boss" here XD I think it's good that Aoshi-sensei although being an unexperienced teacher and a really small teacher (yes I'm talking about heigh right now since most of the students seem to be taller than him XD) totally has his students under controll!
I love Nino's acting and I think he's doing a great job so far. Can't wait to see more =) Pissed off/emotional Aoshi-sensei is the best! It makes me so excited!
Haha I guess for you ep 2 was really interesting when you like Shirao, right? His character was interesting. I'm happy he returned to the team in the end and even (somehow) accepted Aoshi-sensei. Well they might still have a few disagreements in the future I guess but for the sake of the team they will overcome them I think. I have to admit I myself think that Aoshi-sensei is putting more affort into the team as it seems, maybe I would trust him too easily thought ^^" His advices may be strange but I think as well for the also kinda strange team they might work out quite well ^^
Haha Aoshi totally is a scaredy-cat, right? xD That was so funny... I liked seeing him so weak somehow because he's always acting so tough. Also his whining to the team was cute. Well even Aoshi-sensei does not have it easy, right?
Oh, I'm kinda interested in Ushimaru as well since the second episode! I wonder what his character is...
