Julie, I know this is completely off-topic, but I'm bipolar as well. I really enjoy reading about your life and your insights into your mechanisms, coping, etc.
Here's my question, as someone who's been going through this life altering mood FUN-NESS for some time, is how to explain to people that. . . not everything is a symptom? People around me (not just Doux, but others) have said "oh, you're totally bipolar today." and . . .uh. that's not how it works. Explaining to them, however, makes them think that I'm frigging delusional or something. Has this ever happened to you? Moody =/= symptom. sometimes it's just moodiness!
Carrie....oh my dear, if I had a penny for every time someone chalked my mood up to being bipolar, well, I'd be in a lot better financial shape today than I am! Its bad enough that sometimes we have to question ourselves about our moods and where they are actually coming from
