I think that, after Wednesday, I'm going to quit work at Denny's. I just really can't handle it anymore; my brother makes way more than I do and he is much less stressed out at a smaller restaurant. It was a great experience, but I'm just not cut out for that kind of restaurant. Live and learn! I have to work today, from 5-10, and tomorrow,

Cat, don't feel bad at all. I quit at Starbucks almost two weeks ago for the same reasons.

I am now looking for a nice job that I can handle for the remainder of the summer. Yesterday, I submitted applications at five different places because the Common Market might not need me.

My parents have given me a July 1st deadline to find a new job, otherwise they'll sell my car. So, hopefully my interview at the Mediterranean Grill will go well tomorrow.

:) Thanks, Monica. That actually does make me feel better... I picked up an application for Mediterranean Grill as well, but I'm not sure I'll end up filling it out, as I'm still a little apprehensive about my competence in the restaurant business. It is a great restaurant, though, so I hope you get the job!

My today was spent running around the golden mile looking for a job too.

I'm now a hostess at Mountain View diner! whooo. And i only work two days a week, probably more once i get situated.

Check the newspaper, they have lots of classifieds for like...receptionists, and telemarketers, which actually make a lot of money. You just have to deal with people hanging up on you XD
