As I said, the two of you are more than welcome to my spare room. valyazhnaya might object though as that is the same room she uses to kill Pimps and Hos in Grand Theft Auto. But she'll get over it when she realizes she'll have Russian speakers in the house.
Detroit may not seem like much, but I'll keep you as occupied as you want to be. We have Ann Arbor, a college town and all that entails nearby. We have some cool museums nearby (Russians all love museums, right?) including the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village. Cool music spots and night clubs, as well as some cultural icons like Tony Pacos, a Hungarian hot dog joint mentioned extensively in the TV show M*A*S*H.
I've seen every episode of M*A*S*H...but it's been a while and I don't remember much.
I'm voting to go see you...Sveta wants to see cities (which I've seen and don't find interesting).
Oh, and tell Val that the only versions of old Russian films that are now sold are LEGAL versions! But I'll get them anyway. Damn country trying to get into the WTO...now versions and prices are becoming legal and normal...but most people don't have the cash for it, so we'll see what happens. (We'll try underground once today, then to the official store near home.)

I already have a job in Advertising/Marketing (making graphics for mobile and outdoor advertising).
I don't want it...I'll find something more interesting and go to university...or just go to university, since I'll be OK for a while anyway.
Ugg...maybe I'll start my own business...I'll find something. [If not, I'll still have my job open for me here for about 6 months. :-)]
