For the time being he had been wandering about the island, completely lost in thought. He pauses as he notices you, feeling a slight tug at his mind into the present.]

[This was his method of greeting you, the faint hint of his usual gentle smile there. It seemed rather. . .distant. . would likely be the best word for it here.]

[He'd already noticed, at that first mention of Shimon, you'd been different. But he hadn't pressed about what apparently happened between you and them then. He still doesn't really have intentions of doing as such now, as it's very obvious that it bothers you.
Though since Azaria said you've talked with whoever ended up here, he'd like to get a better idea of how that went, at least.]

[The fact there haven't been any problems doesn't really say much, considering how unbalanced the Vongola-Shimon ratio on the island currently is.]

I see... For now, it's enough that he listened at all though, I think. [Even if nothing definite came out of it. Still, hopefully that makes it more likely he'll be heard out too, when he has to deal with the situation.]

I plan on asking the others not to start anything if they run into him. [He still hasn't really forgiven Shimon, but he wants the other side of the story. Besides that, fighting here has more potential to make everything worse--in a few ways.]

The Vindice-- [He never would have expected them becoming a factor. After seeing them at work during the end of that whole Mukuro fiasco back before the ring battles, he'd rather not have to deal with them directly, either.] I'll...pass that on too, for when they go back.
