[Once more, with feeling - Chie's been silent too long and gets a nice jolting zap:] Ahh! Sheesh, can't I get a break? I've been sick ...

[Cue sighing.] Well, I guess I should take the time since this thing is on to mention something, and I think I speak for everyone on the police force when I say that wars are not allowed in Discedo. So if ( Read more... )

Hypocritical. You wage war on instigators.

I'm not waging a war - it's called protecting the peace. Ugh.

Peace can't be sustained without violent action as means of facilitating social change. Yours is a war on those you call criminals.

You're nothin' but future assassins to me.

Mm, I'm settling in okay. I'm worried about Xi-chan though.

...Someone said on here that people who die can come back, right?

Yeah ... [sounds unbelievable, but chie's actually seen it happen to grit, so.] That happens sometimes.

Who's Xi-chan?

Okay...

She's my friend. I talked to her on the comm and then when I was done talking to other people I heard her on it start screaming, and then I went looking for her and I got lost and I never found her so I didn't know what to do and then I remembered that someone said dead people come back to life here.

So she'll come back, right?

[Congratulations, Teddie - you have now officially freaked Chie out.]

Sheesh, Teddie, why didn't you say something sooner? [She gets up out of bed and heads into the rest of the apartment, looking for him. IS HE THERE.] I'm on the police force here, you know.

Wars!? Please tell me you're not serious...

Fine for the most part, but I'm in a position not much better than your own. Should be a few more weeks until I can use my arm again...

Have you met the country-people?

[siiigh]

Sheesh, what happened to your arm?

If by country-people you mean the scientifically impossible and unhinged people that think they're actually countries... Then yes, I've spoken to a few.

It broke when our apartment in at Latimer collapsed.

Yeah, that's them.

[siiigh again]

Oh, jeez - you were in the part of Latimir that got smashed, huh? Hopefully nothing worse than a broken arm? I mean, that's pretty bad too ...
