Bob & Murphy interaction - just brilliant. I loved how Bob kept getting out of the cuffs. And of course, that last line slayed me. Love the fic in general of course but this was even better than your usual standards :)

I liked that Bob was so suave and full of aplomb, throughout the chapter. It was a cute chapter, but one thing that irked me was Murphy's reaction. Or more accurately: overreaction.

I'm fairly certain that what she did was illegal. Cops can't really arrest people who aren't doing anything, even if it seems suspicious. Not without probable cause.

Also, her pulling her weapon willy-nilly? Unlikely. Do you know how much paper work it is for a cop just to draw their weapon?

I know it's nitpicking but that's one thing that really bothers me. But I will say it is true to the character. However, that is a whole other bag of cats. I have some major issues with tv!Murphy's characterization, which we do not need to go into at this juncture.

Don't take this as criticism, I enjoy this series quite a bit. I felt compelled to say something about the matter, so I did. (Nothing gets me into a righteous fury like tv!Murphy; if you want to see a rant, ask me about it sometime.)

I have to agree. I'm not a Murphy fan, either. TV or book. Book Murphy has got too many issues (size, gender, family, ex-husband, etc., etc., etc.). And TV Murphy is abrasive, rude and treats Harry like... well, sometimes she treats him like shit. He deserves better friends. The only time I think she was nice was when they were trapped in Harry's place with Ancient Mai and a Drake, and that wasn't really her!! Which, if you think about it, should have clued Harry in a lot sooner ( ... )
