DVD Hunting in Madras

I reached Madras a full four hours before the Odyssey quiz was supposed to start two weekends back. The presence of another "good" quiz the previous day meant that not too many others were taking the early morning train for the quiz. 65 is slicha costly for DVDs from that part of Madras. You could have bargained for 40-50 per.

Other places to check out DVDs are in Parsn's complex, not far from Landmark Nungambakkam. Good quality DVDs at 50 per. 45 if you bargain a little.

65 bucks is too costly....40 is more like it. I guess u were unlucky to land on a day when most shops were closed. On a normal day if u go to the bazaar near beach station, these shop keepers even give u complimentary cool drinks when u go thro the collections....competition is intense. Btw u can get the same stuff in bangalore too....for about 50 bucks/dvd
