I seem to be facing a huge writer's block nowadays. In the last two weeks, more posts have been not written than written. What i mean is that there have been several times when I have started writing something and then abandoned it midway. It's way too frequent, and it's bugging.

Get a better cell phone :) You can then make notes on it as soon as an idea hits you, and use those notes later when you are near a computer.

Anyway, I'm surprised that you are actually considering writing in Kannada and then translating to English. At least for me, since the medium of instruction all through my education has been in English (which I guess is the same for you), my language of "thought" too is English.

acshully - thinking about it now, no. i don't think "formal kannada" will ever come naturally to me. yes - i'm much more comfortable in English than in that.

however, i'm not sure if i think in english. thinking about it i think i'm most comfortable when talking ni a random mix of kannada and english (which is what I talk at home) - clearly unsuitable for writing.

so yeah - plans for language change abandoned
