These robot-ethics links are pretty interesting. I didn't realize there were already such high level conversations going on about robotics given how primitive the art still is in many respects.
I continue to be irritated by the concept of using the Three Laws as guiding principles of robotics- a) they're FICTIONAL and b) they're incredibly human-favoring. In one sense I guess I'm with the Mavericks on this one- let evolution win. If humans end up being the redundant species, so be it.
My problem with these articles, if anything, is that I'm not looking for serious speculation on ethics. I'm looking for comedy, but this is what I find!
