I've decided to clear my IM list of all the people I don't recognize. People I know from IRC whose identities I can still remember will not be removed, but people from that wild time when I added people to my IM list from LJ without so much as talking to them will probably be culled

Oh I've been wanting to do the same thing. I really only chat with like a total of 5 people off and on, so why do I have all these people on my list?? I need to clear it up.

I didn't end up removing very many people, but it felt good to remove those I didn't recognize. :)

I did it! Wowsie, there were a *ton* on my list that I couldn't even recall their nick that I talked to them under . .. . Wowsie!! That made my IM a lot lighter!
