I like the idea. So far I move read books that I don't want to keep to our lounge, let them sit there for a while in the hope my flatmates will want them and then drop them off at the charity shop. I just can't throw books away...
Will check out BookMooch as this seems to be the solution to my dilemma. Not sure about the posting bit, tho, as I'm usually to lazy to carry things to the post office :)

What with the to-ready lis... err, crate I already have, I doubt I'll get around to using the points any time soon, though.

Basically you set your old books free, leave them in public places for others to find (hopefully), read (maybe) and then pass on again.
