While I haven't exactly been offline, I've been kind of MIA for the past week. Sorry! My mind is brimming with fic ideas and for some reason I've been craving Ron/Draco stories, so I've been paddling around del.icio.us a bit.

I was a soccer Mom in the late 80's and this is so dead-on, it's scary. Don't forget the parents who try to coach, the ones who yell "kill!" at 8 year olds, and the memorable time I had to body check an out of control Dad who was going to strange Rodney the coach *G*.

We finally pulled our kid out of soccer because he wasn't having any actual fun. I wish my parents had figured that out... they made me do swimming, t-ball, softball, basketball, field hockey - okay, field hockey was fun, I admit - but competition sometimes really sucks.

I think Rodney's going to make them have fun, somehow :)

Coaching little kids is hell. I coach track and you would not belive how hard it is to just get them pointed in the right direction. I cannot imagine having to deal with equipment. Poor, darling Rodney :)

The reception hall looks gorgeous! I love winding staircases so much! It's all going to look so much more amazing once the Christmas decorations are in. I'm glad the planning is going so well :)

We were lucky that we went looking while the xmas decorations were still up, so we got to see exactly how it'll look next year. I can't wait!
