the one kind of fell out of the sky. i was thinking of things that come in trios and started toying w the no evil graphic. instead of primates, i thought it would be cute to do baby bears

the other one i thought of last night as i was driving to see zach. i wanted something special to represent me. like a fave line of a book/poetry (which is what neal's doing) or image of a fave scene. but i dont want text or a HUGE tat. then it finally hit me - make yourself is my absolute fave song hands down. its my entire approach to life. so the tat will be a graphic representation of what making myself means to me :)

What will it look like? Anything in real life or a cool shape? Where will you put it?

BTW: the idea of repeatedly being stabbed by a needle also deters me from considering the idea any further.

the one i am absolutely getting is a graphic representation of incubus' make yourself :D lol i know it sounds a little creepy, but this tat looks so cool in my head. its a little girl sitting, but instead of little toys, she's sitting with tools and robot-esque body parts. she will literally be making herself. i want to do more robotic looking parts (that look human once attached) bc having a graphic with human bones sticking out would be too creepy for me. that'll go on my right inner ankle

the other im saving until after children bc it depends on how many i end up having. it's a play on the no evil monkeys. i want little bears instead and the only text are the kids' initials

i found a webpage that talks about the process. according to tattoo artists, it's no worse than cat scratches or a sunburn. lol although neither of those are pleasant

Oh trust me -- sunburn is much worse (but then again I burn to a crisp so maybe you shouldn't listen to me.) It really does feel like scratching and not like a needle repeatedly stabbing you. It helps to have a good friend to talk with while it is happening. As you are talking, you just kind of get used to the scratching. The worst part I think is while it is healing it itches like crazy!!!!! It is that scratchy burny itch and of course you cant scratch it. You're a touch cookie so I know you'll get through it just fine. I am dreaming about my next one. They really are contaigious!
