You've probably noticed by now that I'm big on those little awkward moments where people are forced to re-examine their preconceptions. Which is why I like poems like "The Ballad of Robert Pickton" and your poem about the Billionaire. Your performance from the Anarchy Slam from May 2009 was particularly interesting, especially the response to your line "I'll bet almost none of you have even been to the countries you want to save". That moment of silence before your words hit them between the eyes was sheer genius.
I love those moments where people are forced to take another look at their own personal dogmas. Sometimes what people want to must be sacrificed in exchange for what they need to hear. It's one of the reasons I look forward to your writings and performances. All I can say is: well done and please don't stop!
