i came to the first line and scrolled down to see the length. because i'm at work. and, even if i weren't, i have the attention span of a gnat. i think you should start voiceposting these like bedtime stories. podcast?
anyway, i glanced and back up and said, "ok, take me there" wherever it goes, it's where the reader allows the author to drive. i am the passenger.
yeah, it's longer than usual. It kind of ran away. I try to keep them bite-sized but it's getting harder and harder to do that. I'm not much of a radio DJ narrator. I might give it a try once or twice and see if it flies. We'll see.
i am a huge fan of the voicepost. i do them rather often. not my writing, gawd no. but blabbing for fun.
it would be really nice to hear one in your voice, even if you only did it once.
i have a friend who makes me the occasional mix cd and, when i'm lucky, he'll read a Bukowski poem in the middle of it all. it's SO GOOD. and when i'm walking and hear his voice right in my ear... aww, yeah.
Well, I do happen to have a microphone here. I need, like, I guess, a sound program of some kind, right? I'll try using default windows recorder at first, I think.
