Yesterday, I spent a good chunk of time reading an internet flame war, which was pretty dumb of me, but sometimes it happens. That literary magazine rosefox was involved with as a teenager sounds positively great, to have had people associated with it go on to do such cool things. Or maybe there wasn't a causal relationship, just a wonderful coincidence. But it makes me think how great a venue and its accompanying community can be, you know? For encouraging people.

Daughters of Earth sounds neat, too. So it starts with old stuff and moves toward the present?

Yep, Daughters of Earth goes in chronological order, ending in 2002 with Karen Joy Fowler's "What I Didn't See". I've read that last before, but I am really looking forward to reading again in this context. This book is like a really great conversation.
