Hmm, Tennessee, huh?
Well, I've never been to the south before, despite New Orleans and Orlando being on my list of places to get to at some point.
However, I might have to save that for another trip, as that might be too out of my way, this time. (Perhaps hit all of the southern ones at once)

WHOA! What an awesome reply! :D
Man, if you're not going into the hospitality and tourism industry, I am going to be very disappointed!

Well, yah, definitely Chicago, but there's a lot of road between here and Chicago, I gotta find somewhere else to stop along the way.
:P

Oh, hey yeah, I'd completely forgotten about things that weren't cities!
Man, I feel like an idiot ("Durr, hey gaiz, what's between California and NY?" ... uhhh, how about the GRAND CANYON, YELLOWSTONE, hell even MT. RUSHMORE, or one of the the other NATIONAL PARKS YOU'LL BE GOING THROUGH TO GET THERE, genius?)
*facepalm*
Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah, I'm thinking the northern route would be my best bet, at this point.
I could always try Utah for the the first stop, as my brother and his wife live there, but... there's nothing to do there, so *shrug*.

Nothing confirmed yet, but I'm not in any hurry, so I'll see what happens.
Just in case I do end up going through Chicago, what was the name of that other good deep-dish place? I went to that place across from the Sears Tower that you recommended last time, and they were great, so I want to try the other guys now (I'm all about variety).
