I'm not familiar with these Spider books, but they look like something I'd love!

I do have to mention that if you are triggered by rape, rape threats (though not using that language) are fairly common in the series, but not in this particular volume.

As far as I know, the only (offstage) actual rape is in "The Red Death Rain", but it's of a type that modern audiences will find particularly rant-inducing.
