Why the hell am I reviewing a low-budget monster movie from more than a decade ago? Because it's fucking awesome, that's why! OK, so the props and the special effects are mostly not-great to the point of looking a bit ridiculous, and the plot stretched my suspension of disbelief in some places, and horror isn't even one of my genres, but you know

I loved that film, I think it was one of the last films I saw at Film Unit, before I graduated.
