I do like his Victorian assumptions that women basically know nothing about sexual desire and masturbation and should be protected from such nastiness. We may, as a sex, go solo less than men, but less =/= never! He should read the Kinsey report...

I don't think he believes that women do not masturbate; this book just happens to be specifically directed at men. In a way, I think he's accepting his own limitations by not trying to address female sexual habits directly. He's not a woman, he doesn't know what it's like to be a woman, so he's going to talk to the menfolk. I think what he's saying (somewhat clumsily) is that he doesn't think women understand male desire. But yes, he probably also believes that male desire is or should be a more powerful force than female desire.

Oh, and most American conservatives believe that Kinsey was a sick-o child molester, so nothing he says can ever be true or valid.

My LJ is a free speech zone. And if I didn't have family listening to this guy, I probably wouldn't pay him any mind at all. He's an influence on people who are close to me, so it behooves me to pay attention.
