Road Trip, Day One

Uneventful day today. Everything fit in my truck, miraculously, and it's driving just fine. Did just over 700 miles today, and am staying in Danville, IL tonight. Hope tomorrow goes as smoothly!

Driving goal for tomorrow: Mitchell, SD (at least). Maybe I'll stop by the Corn Palace.

Well done! Glad things are going ok. I have a mini-road trip tomorrow. Been listening to Bon Iver and podcasts of the Diane Rheme Show's news roundup. What have you got on your ipod?

I have my Random Playlist of Randomness. A couple years ago, I ended up with all of D's music and all of elanya's music, which when added to mine, was a total of something like 16,000 tracks. I've been slowly listening to and rating all of it. It's a pretty bizarre mix. I have a rule that, even if I hate something, I have to listen to at least a minute and a half of it to give it a fair shake. At night, I plug in my ipod and delete everything that got less than three stars. A bit OCD, you say? Yeah, probably. But then, so are most of the things I do. Only 14 four star songs today, and no five stars.

Matt had a DJ gig this weekend, and he still carries CDs around with him. He's at least as OCD about it as you are, and everything is perfectly in order and labeled. Actually, I mentioned your BPAL spreadsheet, since it seemed apropos.
