I'm back in Lancaster, and have regular net access again, albeit in an inferior hotel (no fridge). Boy goes home tomorrow. Boo. Anyway, what I wanted to say was, did I miss anything important?
Yay! I'm reading her newest book at the moment (Terrier), and it's so much fun that I stayed up until 2:15, even though I had to be up at 6:45 this morning. Enjoy! *busts out Alanna icon*
Definitely. The Immortals quartet picks up a few years after the Song of the Lioness, and the Protector of the Small books are a few years again after that. The two Trickster books follow on from there and are the best since the original series, in my opinion. The one I'm reading now is actually set about 200 years before the others, and deals with an ancestress of George Cooper.
I've read some of the Circle of Magic series, but they seem to be for younger readers, and they feel a bit slow to me, and they characters don't feel as engaging.
