A Serious Post- Not Kidding

A couple of months ago I had a “cardiac event”. I've decided to share what happened to me because there's a chance that my experience could help one of you to make the right choice if you have the sort of problem I had. Man that's a scary episode. I'm glad you're around to write it.

Also glad you put the symptoms together to realize something was very wrong. btw - the sweaty/dizzy is a significant symptom there. When I went to my Dr for fatigue that was the first thing she asked me (heart problems run fast and furious in my family) but of course I could say no - thankfully.

Oh and OUCH on being shocked while conscious. I've heard it hurts like a bastard. Apparently it worked though - VTach is scary stuff.

I'm glad you listened. Heart issues are so different person to person. I am also glad that you had someone who could drag you back home afterwards.

I am VERY glad that nothing permanently horrible came out of this. If there is anything that people should keep an eye out for, you will let us know.

Good for you. I'm glad it turned out okay, and that you were smart enough to listen to that little voice. Eowyn can tell you, I've had the same stupid, insisting I was alright, until it occurred to me that if she was concerned enough to ask, I probably wasn't....
