yesterday quite possibly could have been one of the best days ever. its nice waking up with a smile on your face b/c of it. i feel as though my heart is no longer cold....its definately getting warmer now.

my mom is here, i love her, and i certainly don't want her leaving.

today, should also prove to be another good day.....*sighs.

wow. I've been packing for what seems like all day, but more like 5 hours. Got alot done. More to do.

I will never understand how people underestimate my skills, not only as a person, but as a parent. People are so quick to believe the worst, especially when it comes to MY parenting skills. today has been the best day i've had in a long while, not so much anything specific, but i am just happy. there will be things i will have to deal with along the way, but i'll be a better person b/c of it.

it's snowing.

i officially made it here after over 16 hours. Fuck. I definately don't plan on doing this again after I go back to Chicago. Kayla did beautifully, I believe better than I did.
