i live in left field, for the record.norevolutionaryMarch 22 2009, 03:06:16 UTC
hello! my name is andrew, and i saw your post in ftmvanity, and i said "hey, he's cute, i wonder what he's about" and then i looked at your user info, ANYWAY, you go to columbia, yes?
here's why i ask: i am looking at going to school there for television next spring, (with a probable emphasis post-prod. and visual effects). how's the school there? i know you're film but i figure the programs are similar, yeah? from what i understand tv is less crowded. how are they with trans stuff? do you live in the school housing system?

Columbia College in Chicago, yeah, I went there last semester. Ended up withdrawing because I couldn't pay to stay.
It's a good college and it'll prepare you to have a career after graduation while most other colleges will just coddle you and tell you that you're good at what you do even when you really aren't (SoCal, UCLA, NYU, ect..) I live off campus because I can't afford an extra $10K or more a year for the dorms, which are overrated.
As for trans friendliness, it's a very trans friendly campus. We have a great lgbtq office that is very active on the campus. I'm actually currently the head of the political advocacy committee of our lgbtqqia student org Common Ground. We have a few gender neutral bathrooms and we're working toward getting more.
Hi. I found in my stash of usericons an icon about the "gay agenda" that I think is by you, and I wanted to check before I used it if it was a private icon, a gift for someone, or if I could use it.
