I have seen it.. ok.. well.. snippets of it
and yes.. my first thought was..
'hrrmm.. Maine.. yup.. just as I remember it.. buncha trees and didn't Skita grow up there?'
it was more interesting than Ice Road Truckers.. I did miss seeing all the Canadians though (even when angry they were annoyingly polite..), but the only thing I didn't like about the show was the lack of crushed hippies..
with all those trees being cut down I would have expected to see at least two or three of the bark-huggers squished.. maybe I'm just watching too much South Park though
yet, that is just a minor thing and the show was still very enjoyable
but doesn't the show also take place in the NW and Oregon (which was being logged by helicopters)
after watching it.. it did reinforce one thing..
Logging + Nix = not an advisable career path
did anyone catch the No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain: Chicago edition?
that brought back many a memory for me

Also, remember that they're near the Canadian border - but it's Quebec. French-Canadians are very different than the angry polite ones from Ice Road Truckers. Trust me.
