that is beautiful...you...were...hiking...it is a triumph for me to make it up and down our stairs at home without crawling on them...you shame me...seriously...to clarify, I don't mean that in a bad way...I guess it's like George Clinton and the Parliament say: we got the funk, gotta have that funk...and yeah, everybody's gotta have their fair share...I think you're holding up remarkably well frankly and looking beautiful while you do it... - your sister in ankle funk - M

You are entirely too sweet! And for what it's worth, Tom read your response and laughed out loud. Really. But don't be too impressed with the hiking, I really was walking like a 93-year-old criple by the end. ;)

It's kind of a long story, but the short answer is business. I stopped going to school after about 2 years "back in the day" to support the ex while he got his Masters, and eventually his PhD (although he had moved on and was sponging off others by then. ;) I promised myself I'd finish up eventually, so I am trying. The problem is I absolutely HATE it... so we'll see how long I actually am able to stick it out. I do have to admit, though, it is the one thing that's a bit easier while unemployed.
