Interesting article, good to keep in mind as I go through my own interviewing process. I share his concerns about rookie risk, but those concerns are WAY outweighed by my concerns about our international relations, economy, national security, and civil rights if McCain wins.
I thought Lou did a pretty decent job of at least attempting to remain neutral in his asessment.
That web site has a TON of articles on interviewing... but I won't worry too much about it. I'm guessing you present yourself quite well, and that's the most important thing. :)
I've done more research and planning than ever before for this interview that didn't happen this morning. I've spoken with 2 former employees, chatted up a relative of daizeymaizey's who knows the boss, wrote TWO formal stock investment recommendations (including underlying quantitative analyses), prepared a history of the trades I've done since April, 2007, bought a suit, shirt, tie, and belt, and driven 250 miles.
FWIW, I was thinking about it this morning, and I think that the fact that they chose that date/time of day to interview speaks to what they think of your qualifications. Plus, like I said earlier, they *should* appreciate the fact that you've been cool about the last minute SNAFU.
Plus, I bet you could wear the suit to take daizeymaizey out to dinner and TOTALLY sweep her off her feet! Oh, wait, you already did that....
