ON CAMP ITSELF:
It cycles between this, this, more this, and appropriately so this. Once in a while, this happens.
As for the people, anyone she has the most CR with are pretty rad folks, so she's fairly cool wit dem. But there is the occasional person that still makes her go twitch.

- WAKE UP. She is a morning person so usually it's fairly early, but on occasion she will stay up late and so will sleep in the next day. But "sleeping in" is probably like, 11am to her, so.
- Get breakfast!!! She never skips this meal, okay. Unless it's Tuesday, in which hopes hopefully she remembered to stash some food aside because no way on the mess hall.
- If she's up for it, Maka might see if there's anything going on around camp, but even so she doesn't particularly LOOK HARD for anything. It's just more of a "let's see what's up" thing. Maybe she'll stick around. Maybe she won't.
- Obviously if nothing is going on or catches her interests, she is... reading... I'd say she raids the library every day, but chances are she's taken some books back to her room, too, in case she wants a little more privacy. Even the library isn't devoid of wacky antics happening, so while she's in there a lot, it isn't every single day ( ... )

It isn't terribly different from last time!! Maka still really likes Hawke. She's a lot like most of the adult figures in her life, really, in that they're pretty damn good in what they do but still manage to be somehow quirky in their own right. Maka was actually a little surprised to hear Fenris call her a troublemaker, because she never got that impression about Hawke (yet), even if she does make the occasional questionable comment. Nonetheless, she appreciates Hawke's presence! On top of that, Hawke still manages to both treat Maka on an equal level and be an adult figure (unlike back home, where all of them were pretty much authority figures-- not like that is a bad thing, but it's... new!).
So I guess tl;dr Hawke is someone Maka respects and thinks she is a pretty cool dude. ... Next part to come in a separate comment BECAUSE I CAN.

The two of them may as well be joined at the hip, but Maka really isn't that dependent on him (in normal circumstances, more on that later....). She manages fine and dandy without him, can go about her daily routine, etc. So she's okay-- very fine, even! Buuuut--
She misses him a lot, obviously. He's her best friend and partner, and back home the two were never separate for long (I could count the scenes in canon they weren't together in on one hand), so going as long as she has without seeing him kind of bothers her. It didn't so much at first, but it's been, well, months now. It lessens the blow in that all the Meisters in camp are without their partners too-- that some of her friends from home are here at ALL helps immensely, if anything-- but, y'know, anyone would want their biffle around.
As far as fighting goes, ugghhh it effen SUCKS most of the time. She's used to a style of combat that utilizes improbable weapons a scythe, so without any kind of weapon it's sort of... She has to get used to a new way of ( ... )

Maka actually thinks of him as a pretty decent guy now. Even though his first impression was not the greatest (that part's been pretty much deemed "okay he was just being a STUPID BOY then" now, because as we all know boys often get a case of the dumb) and Santana insisted to STEER AWAY, ever since then their conversations have not been bad at all. If anything she definitely does not mind being around him! And is pretty willing to talk to him now, and help out and all that stuff. He's someone that, if it happened, Maka wouldn't be against knowing more about him. Aaannnndddd YEAH THEY NEED TO TALK MORE, definitely more about things that isn't Camp Is Doing Things. 8(
