Last night, I turned on 我们少女时代 as background noise to lull me to sleep. I remember lightly scoffing when people told me to watch that show. It was the formulaic, coming of age, romantic Taiwanese drama with one dimensional characters, probably would not have strayed much from 那些年，我们一起追的女孩。It is such a simple show.
