personally, i'd re-write the finale so it wasn't just freddie/effy/cook (although we had a little jj!) i wanted there to be emily/katie, seeing how they are.

also:
- no 'hitting someone on head with rock' business, i just didn't like that.
- some sort of birth control?! that much sex can't happen without bc and there be no pregnancy?!
- more naomi witticisms.
- freddie getting a little less ~emo and letting loose?!

but they are just little things, i really did appreciate the series.
i can't believe it's over :(

with the awesome season finales, with chris and jal and michelle and tony and maxxie and anwar and sid and CASSIE. :'(

i honestly just keep watching this new season only because i don't want to forget about skins and how much it meant to me. i know some of you might be tired of people saying how much the new season sucked but it's just the way it is. what's up with the crazy ass parties? with the irresponsable parents (because excuse me, the only two really bad parents are effy's and cook's), the conflicts between them? the drugs and the struggle the have because of them, the alcohol and the drama?

this new season is all about fucking freddy and effy. EXCUSE ME, borrrrrring. freddy is one hell of a whiny stupid bitch, he complains and cries and feels betrayed. that's his main roll. cook's just cook. not gonna change. he's inmmature and stupid and silly and awesome and we all pretty much love him thanks to that. AND EFFY'S JUST EFFY. PERIOD.

THIS. I honestly think the whole Freffy thing was created because they were nervous that people wouldn't watch the show with the new cast. They needed a quick way to guarantee they'd bring in a lot of teen viewers, so they did what every other typical teen show does: Bring in some ~Epic~ ~Starcrossed~ ~Let's just stare at each other~ ~instant!love~ couple. Which is sad, because I used to love Skins because they WEREN'T like other typical teen dramas.

I still love Skins, but the F/E-Show definitely put a minor dent in that love. :P

i would have put less love triangle nonsense throughout the series and maybe concentrated on relationship developments (eg. freffy?! lol seriously.) and more of the other characters (jj, panda, thomas). AND MORE COOK.
also~
i thought episode 3x08 could have been more collected because it seemed all over the place to me. and the rock thing is so random tbh

yes to relationship developments. the show being only 10 episodes a series is difficult to get a full school year in. it doesn't make a lot of sense to watch because obviously the writers are imaging their lives outside of the episode we get each week but we don't see any of that.
