We left him at John Foster’s gaff, who we were led to believe was responsible for the murder of Freddie.
Why would he word it like this? My mind is already going places. Now I'm led to believe that Freddie didn't die but was tied up in the basement when Cook found him and confessed his true love to him. JACK SAID IT SO NOW IT'S FACT!!! I won't hear any or accept any other truths.

It definitely does sound suggestive, but I also heard (I think one of the actors said it) that Freddie wouldn't be mentioned in this series.

That doesn't surprise me. They create this HUGE storyline that presumably effects everyone in a big way and....nothing.

She’s also been with a boy in America. I will leave it up to the audience to decide who that could be. It’s quite nice to leave that ambiguity because it could potentially be anyone. I quite like that this story doesn’t give you too much information about where she’s been, I like that level of mystery and ambiguity.

translation: i like that cassid is dead and we don't even have to hear what happened to him.
