But why would a relationship with Alex be forbidden? Although I wouldn't call a relationship with Franky forbidden either.
The only ones I could imagine falling in that category would be Nick/Matty, Nick/really young girl, Nick/older woman, married, with kids, etc...

Maybe because of his dad? Though I heard he won't appear in Nick episode, so no chances of Fitch situation happening all over again.

- mini will use alo for sex at first and then when he dumps her she'll realise what a ~man he is and beg him to take her back.
- nick will save franky from something, idk what, and fall for her. this may or may not be thru a hook-up. either way, he will and he will pine for her all year while she has sex with luke and matty.
- liv will steal this series by being the fun and reliable friend we were shown in 503. her and alex will have one of the most refreshing friendships of the show.
- alex's 'hookup' will last 3 seconds and he will not get a real love interest.
- grace will disappear after the first episode when she feels her relationship with rich is too much. 50/50 she'll cheat.

Speaking about romances,
Viobeck will get angst and drama fueled, in the end becoming a less toxic and boring version of Sid/Cassie, eventually morphing into endgame with Blood and Grace's illness being the only obstacles. I sense some hints of marriage.

Fatty will be a short-lived heterosexual Naomily without AfterEllen support. Franky will turn into Effy 2.0 thanks to the help of Fluke, cancelling poor adaptation of Ceffy-like affair. She will either end up single or with Fatty through the ways of redemption arc.

Malo won't happen, at least not more than a friendship. Mini and Alo will hook up with their respectable randoms, the same as Nick and Alex. I don't even want to start contemplating Minky and its possibly potential, so let me skip them. Liv... definitely a single. I cannot see her with anyone at the moment, though a tiny part of me is still hoping for Lalo. A girl can dream, right

I think Alo becomes the centre of the group just because he's fun and positive. I guess less like the leader and more like the person everyone gravitates to.

I hope Liv doesn't get Panda'd but I fear of it happening. Both the character and Laya have potential for more.
