[MOD POST]: 3RD OFFICIAL COMMUNITY HEADER CONTEST
OFFICIAL COMMUNITY HEADER CONTEST
It's a new season of skins, so it's only fitting that the community should have a fresh new look. So please, read the rules and submit your header for the contest. We know that there are many talented members of this community and so we're really looking forward to seeing what you all come up with.
The winning entry will become the new skinsfans header, and the layout will be customized to match. The second place entry will become the banner for the community profile. And, of course, the entries will be voted on by skinsfans members only.
THEME: SERIES 5 CAST/GROUP
(optional skins us cast/group inclusion)
RULES
01. Header image should be approx. 800x300 pixels. If you can, please try to size your image to those exact pixels. However, if your image is something like 786x280 px, that's okay too. Only images that greatly deviate from the suggested dimensions (i.e. 500x200 pixels) will not be accepted.
02. Theme: You must include include all the S5 main characters in your header image. You can use trailer screencaps, character promo stills, cast magazine photoshoots, behind the scenes filming pics, etc. Any photo or image of the S5 characters/cast is fair game. It doesn't have to be a full cast shot, although it can be if you'd like. Just be sure to include all the main characters of S5 and you'll fulfill the theme requirement.
If you would like to include the S1 US characters/cast in your header, you can, but it's not a requirement to do so.
03. Use of textures/gradients/text/etc. is acceptable.
04. Each member can submit up to two different header images for the contest.
05. The header image must have the words "skinsfans" and "version 4.0" (or another variation of v4.0) on it.
06. Please submit your headers to this entry. They will be screened and then revealed in a separate voting post.
ENTRIES ARE DUE BY 11:59PM (EST) ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2010. Voting will take place from February 18 - February 22nd. The top 2 winning layouts will be announced on February 23rd and the new layout/header will be up by February 25th - 26th.
