SKINS US - EPISODE 1X01: REPORT CARD

It's time to grade the episode! Obviously not all of you have watched the episode yet, so don't vote or "view results" yet if you don't want to be spoiled. But for those who have seen it, go ahead and rate it! For those who aren't familiar with the American system of grading, "A" is the best and "F" is the worst. So, go ahead, grade the episode!

yeah i went with a c as well. it was the first episode so it's naturally a little shaky. but it wasn't horrible. once it begins to get it's footing i believe it will get better and better. kind of like how the original series did.

C/C+ for me. I wasn't bothered by the acting (which honestly wasn't that bad), and I did manage to get through it without thinking about the UK version too much, so that's a plus. But it was still a pilot, and they're generally shaky. Even though I like (here and with the original pilot) that it gets you into the thick of things quicker than most shows. It did give me enough to want to watch weekly though.

C- for me. Sometimes it looked like the actors didn't even know what they are doing anymore. The acting was "dead" at some of the scenes. I did enjoy Michelle :) I don't understand the distance sequence with Tony's bed. It doesn't have naked people so WTF XD

I give it a solid C. It's a bit hard to judge the pilot, because I've already seen it with the U.K. actors. I can say I didn't care for the new Tony or the adults. But, some of the other characters (and their new takes on them) have potential. It's all new storylines from here on out, so I'll give it two-three more episodes and decide from there.
