I'm glad they're finally switching it up a bit with Heathcliff. He is described as being pretty dark skinned in the book, so it's odd that every actor who's played the character has been really pasty.

I've been waiting for this news for what seems like ever! I'm really excited to see this. I love Wuthering Heights, I love Kaya, and I love Cathy. I'm also pleased that they've chosen an actor who actually matches the description of Heathcliff.

i'm excited actually. but maybe because wuthering heights is one of my favorite books of all time. and plus, there are so many adaptations and there will be so many more in the future i'm sure, that even if they do mess it up beyond repair, a new version will come and redeem itself eventually.
