Hmm, fuckface on Facebook...misogynistic updates...divorced at a young age....I know who! I was listening to satellite radio today and they had an interesting discussion of when "too soon" isn't "too soon" anymore. Basically saying that MJ has been such a butt of jokes for so long, can you still make the jokes? When can you start again? It was actually really cool discussion because they touched on a lot of other topics like 9/11 and Lady Diana, and other celebrity deaths. When can you go from "Did you hear, McDonalds is doing a special Michael Jackson burger...." to "Did you hear, now that he's dead, McDonalds is doing a special memorial Mcihael Jackson burger..." Same joke, but timing. Supposedly, the Bruno movie opened yesterday and had a bit where he meets Latoya Jackson and makes a bunch of Michael jokes, and they just cut the entire part.
Hahaha! I was hoping you'd figure out who I was referring to. I went ahead and deleted him.
Well, I think any jokes about allegations against MJ at this point are all in bad taste and bad timing. I was talking to a few people today about MJ's death at a shindig and the only jokes that were made were in reference to his plastic surgery. I don't think something like that is "too soon" because it's not malicious.
I heard about the scenes cut from Bruno and I'm really glad they did that.
I knew who it was from Fuckface with misogynistic updates, I didn't even need the divorced clue. I think they'll retire most Michael Jackson jokes, if only because it's not topical anymore. Even now, make a few "Michael Jackson died yesterday, the funeral is next week but his real nose was buried years ago. Ba dum-bum!" and move on. Plus, it's not like any of them were unique. Most jokes are just "Did you hear about *plug in stereotype or celebrity here*? Then the punchline. There are lots of other child molesters who there is proof about, you don't need to make MJ jokes anymore. Hell, use Gary Glitter. He was actually convicted of the crime. For plastic surgery jokes, use Joan Rivers.
At last, he is at peace

I honestly never believed he was guilty of those charges. He was just a little boy trapped in a man's body, wanting to stay in Neverland forever... He needed someone to advise him that sleepovers with children were no longer appropriate at his age. The second charge was extremely suspicious - I believe the accusors were caught in a couple lies.
I grew up with Michael Jackson and love his music and his art. He was one-of-a-kind, there will never be anyone that comes close. I already miss him dearly! I really wish he could have at least had his last tour, I would have loved seeing him in concert... now I never will. :'(

I thought that Living With Michael Jackson documentary was really insightful, albeit a disaster for PR to some people.
I watched the South Park episode last night where Michael Jackson and "Blanket" moved to town. I thought it was hilarious, and they didn't accuse him of being a child molester; they said exactly what you said.
I too was hoping that he'd somehow have his comeback tour extend to Canada so we could see him in concert. :( Even seeing video footage from the London tour would have been awesome.

Yes! That's the right documentary. MJ spent an obscene amount in that store alone. You can't spend money like the Thriller days unless you continue to bring in money like that.
